A. Public Ad Library Query Data

When you input a Facebook Ad Library URL or numeric Ad ID into our research bar, this input is processed solely to retrieve and format the publicly available advertising snapshot from Meta's public Ad Library. We do not correlate your queries with personal user identities.

B. Automated Log Files

Like virtually all web applications, AdLibrary.dev uses standard server log files. Information gathered includes:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
  • Browser software version and operating system
  • Internet Service Provider (ISP) information
  • Date and time stamps of requests
  • Referring and exit pages

This data is used strictly for server diagnostics, bot mitigation, DDOS protection, and general platform maintenance.

C. Browser Local Storage ("Swipe File")

When you use the "Save to Swipe File" feature, all saved ads, thumbnails, and copy snippets are stored strictly within your local web browser's storage (HTML5 LocalStorage). This data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to, stored on, or harvested by our backend database.

2. Google AdSense, DoubleClick DART Cookies & Advertising

Google is a third-party advertising vendor on AdLibrary.dev. Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve advertisements to our site visitors based on their visits to our website and other websites across the internet.
